Polk County has biggest tax rate cut in NC
This was a revaluation year for property values and in keeping with their promise to make it revenue neutral the tax rate is $.52 per $100 of property value. This is actually $.03 below what would have been "revenue netural". Just one more reason to live in Polk County.
